The 2024 Cadillac Lyriq is Cadillac’s first ever full electric vehicle offering advanced luxury comfort with up to 494 kilometres of range on a full charge. Starting at $66,699 (CAD), the Cadillac Lyriq will come in much more affordable than its competitors like the Tesla Model X, the BMW iX, and the Audi Q8 e-tron.

ENGINE AND DRIVETRAIN:

The Lyriq is available on a rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive platform. The rear-wheel drive system produces 340 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque on a single drive motor. The all-wheel drive system increases to 500 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque with a dual drive motor. This provides the driver with sporty, responsive, and agile drive everytime they hit the road. 

BATTERY INFORMATION AND RANGE:

The Cadillac Lyriq will be powered by GM’s new EV battery technology called Ultium. The Cadillac Lyriq battery will offer a 102-kWh worth of capacity which means that the Cadillac Lyriq will be able to travel 505 kilometres in the rear-wheel drive and 494 Kilometres in the all-wheel drive model on one charge.

The 2024 Cadillac Lyriq also supports DC Fast Charging up to 190 kW, which would provide the driver with up to 123 Kilometres of range in about 10 minutes. Additionally, the development of regenerative braking supports range performance by allowing the driver to use one-pedal driving to absorb the braking power and convert it back into usable energy for the Ultium batteries. 

INTERIOR COMFORTS & TECHNOLOGY:

As you would expect in a Cadillac vehicle, the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq comes equipped with a premium leather interior and wood grain finishes. However, the dash is where the 2024 Lyriq really stands out with a 33-inch curved advanced LED display that serves as the SUV’s infotainment system, the driver’s gauge display, and allows you to set the mood by adjusting the ambient lighting inside the vehicle!

Google built-in delivers Google Assistant, Google Maps, and Google Play right to your fingertips, so you have access to hands-free help, live traffic updates, your favourite apps, and more. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will be standard as well as a 19-speaker AKG Stereo System.

Cadillac has taken your driving experience up a notch by utilizating Active Noise Cancellation which measures road vibration and uses the AKG Stereo System to help actively cancel road-induced noises.
